Adele Begins Las Vegas Residency With Emotion: "Thank You For Coming Back To Me"

Adele said a heartfelt thank you to fans for coming back to her with an emotional return to the stage on Tuesday night, kicking off her Las Vegas residency.

The Beginning:

Adele kicked off her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency with a bang!

The singer, who is currently in the middle of her world tour, made her first stop in Las Vegas on Wednesday night (May 3) for the opening of her eight-night stint at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

And it was clear from the start that Adele was excited to be back performing in front of a live audience again, as she thanked them profusely throughout the night.

“Thank you so much for coming back to me,” she said at one point. “I’ve missed you.”

Adele also took a moment to thank her fans for their support during her recent hiatus, saying, “You guys have been waiting so patiently and I cannot tell you how happy I am to be here.”

The night was full of emotion for Adele, who broke down in tears during her performance of “Someone Like You.” But she quickly recovered and powered through the rest of her hits, including “Rolling in the Deep,” “Skyfall,” and “Hello.”

She also paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston with a cover of “I Will Always Love You.”

Adele brought several fans onstage during her show, including one lucky guy whom she serenaded with “Make You Feel My Love.”

The Grammy-winning artist will perform seven more shows at The Colosseum through November 2.
