Oktoberfest Takes Over the Plaza

The one-day celebration will transform the Plaza at Toyota Music Factory into an Oktoberfest-style gathering featuring German beer, German food, live entertainment and traditional-inspired activities.

Organizers are also planning keg bowling, stein-holding competitions and Bavarian games, giving visitors more to do beyond the food and music.

Free Admission for Early Guests

General admission is free for the first 500 guests, making early arrival one of the biggest draws for the event. The general admission experience includes access to the festival’s entertainment, games and other activities.

A VIP option is available for guests who want a dedicated bar and lounge area, a commemorative stein and two complimentary drinks.

A Full Day of Food, Music and Games

The festival is designed as a casual weekend event for groups, families and friends. Visitors can move between food and drink offerings, live performances and activities throughout the afternoon.

The event runs until 8 p.m., giving guests several hours to experience the festivities at the Las Colinas entertainment district.

The Festival Shares the Weekend With a Major Race

Oktoberfest arrives on the same day as the Irving Oktoberfest Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. The races begin in the morning at the Plaza at Toyota Music Factory, with the half marathon starting at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 10K at 7:45 a.m. and the 5K at 7:55 a.m.

After the races, participants can take part in a post-race festival at Toyota Music Factory featuring live entertainment, food and beverages. The combination gives the Las Colinas area a full day of racing and Oktoberfest activities.

What to Know Before Heading to Irving

Oktoberfest on the Plaza is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, from noon to 8 p.m. at Toyota Music Factory, 316 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving.

With live music, German food, beer, stein-holding competitions, keg bowling and Bavarian games, the event offers a distinctly fall-themed entertainment option for the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
