The Cash Money & No Limit Tour is bringing two influential names in Southern hip-hop together for a major Dallas stop at American Airlines Center on Sunday, October 4.
The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The lineup includes Birdman, Master P, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, B.G., Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mac, Fiend, Mercedes Choppa, Mr. Serv-On and the Ying Yang Twins.
A First-Ever Joint Arena Tour
The 17-city tour marks the first-ever joint arena tour bringing together Cash Money Records and No Limit Records. The two labels played major roles in the rise of Southern hip-hop and helped establish New Orleans as an important center of the genre.
The tour is being promoted around the idea of bringing the two musical legacies together on one stage. For longtime hip-hop fans, the Dallas date offers a chance to see performers associated with both labels during the same arena show.
A Lineup Packed With Hip-Hop Veterans
Master P and Birdman headline the tour, with several artists connected to the two labels joining them throughout the evening.
Juvenile and Mannie Fresh represent key parts of Cash Money’s history, while Silkk the Shocker and Mia X are among the artists connected to No Limit’s catalog. B.G., Fiend, Mac, Mercedes Choppa and Mr. Serv-On are also listed for the Dallas performance.
The Ying Yang Twins are also listed as part of the Dallas lineup by American Airlines Center and Live Nation.
Dallas Stop Comes During 17-City Run
The Dallas performance is one of 17 arena dates scheduled across the United States. The tour began in September and continues through November, with stops including Washington, D.C., Columbia, St. Louis, Memphis, Chicago, Cincinnati and Cleveland.
The Dallas show follows the tour’s October 2 performance in Birmingham, Alabama, and comes before its October 8 stop at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
