Nashville’s Blue Room at Third Man Records is set for a sold out indie music night on Friday, October 9, when Chanel Beads takes the stage with Mechatok, Car Culture and Horse Vision.
The show is part of Chanel Beads’ 2026 North American tour and arrives during the project’s run of U.S. dates supporting its latest album, Your Day Will Come. The Nashville performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Blue Room, located inside Third Man Records.
Chanel Beads Heads to Nashville
Chanel Beads is the musical project of New York based American musician Shane Lavers. Lavers works with vocalist Maya McGrory and experimental violinist Zachary Paul as part of the project’s evolving sound.
The project has built a following around an experimental approach to indie music, combining layered production with guitar based textures and electronic elements.
The Nashville stop comes after performances in Dallas, Austin and Houston earlier in the week. The tour continues through Atlanta, Durham and Washington, D.C., before reaching New York and Miami later in October.
The Blue Room Hosts the Sold Out Show
The October 9 performance will take place at the Blue Room, Third Man Records’ intimate Nashville performance space.
The venue has a capacity of about 250 people, making the Chanel Beads show a considerably smaller affair than many of Nashville’s larger concert events. The performance is currently listed as sold out.
Doors are scheduled to open at 7 p.m., according to the current event listing.
Mechatok and Car Culture Join the Bill
The Nashville show features more than just Chanel Beads.
Mechatok and Car Culture are included on the bill, while Horse Vision is also listed among the performers by Nashville’s local music calendar and Songkick.
The multi artist lineup gives the night a broader alternative music focus while keeping the event centered on the intimate Blue Room setting.
Chanel Beads Continues Its 2026 Tour
The Nashville concert is part of a busy stretch for Chanel Beads.
The project began its North American tour in September with shows in Philadelphia, Cambridge, Montreal, Toronto and several other major U.S. and Canadian cities. The tour has included stops in Chicago, Denver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
After Nashville, Chanel Beads heads to Atlanta on October 10 and Durham on October 11. The tour later reaches Washington, D.C., Queens and Miami.
A Recent Album Anchors the Tour
Chanel Beads’ current tour supports Your Day Will Come, the project’s second album.
The album was released through Jagjaguwar and followed a series of singles that expanded the project’s experimental sound. Among the recent releases is “Dust in the Wind,” which was released ahead of the album and helped introduce the new material ahead of the tour.
Why the Nashville Show Stands Out
The October 9 concert is notable not because it is a massive arena production, but because it brings an emerging alternative act and several accompanying artists into one of Nashville’s smallest notable music rooms.
The Blue Room’s limited capacity makes the sold out show a more intimate Nashville concert experience. It also gives the event a natural local entertainment angle that is distinct from the city’s much larger arena and festival calendar.
For music fans following independent and experimental artists, the combination of Chanel Beads, Mechatok, Car Culture and Horse Vision makes the October 9 date a noteworthy stop on Nashville’s fall concert calendar.
What Comes Next
After the Nashville performance, Chanel Beads continues through the Southeast before heading north and eventually appearing at Miami’s III Points Festival.
The Nashville show is therefore one stop in a larger tour, but its sold out status and intimate Third Man Records setting make it a distinctive entry on the October concert calendar.
