Sports fans and curious visitors will have another chance to explore SoFi Stadium in Inglewood when the venue hosts a SoFi Stadium Tour on Thursday, Oct. 8.
The tour is listed as a No Field Access experience, meaning visitors will not be able to step onto the playing field during this particular tour. Ticketmaster lists the Oct. 8 tour for 9 a.m.
A Look Inside One of Los Angeles’ Biggest Stadiums
SoFi Stadium is home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers and has become one of the most recognizable sports venues in Southern California.
The stadium opened in 2020 and can accommodate more than 70,000 spectators for typical events, with capacity expandable for larger gatherings. Its massive roof and four-story Infinity Screen are among the venue’s most distinctive features.
What Visitors Can See
The stadium tour provides a behind-the-scenes look at areas normally reserved for players, teams and premium guests.
Depending on availability, tour stops can include premium suites, team locker rooms, the player tunnel and other exclusive areas of the venue.
The standard tour experience without field access lasts approximately 60 to 75 minutes, according to SoFi Stadium. Tour routes and stops can change based on stadium operations.
Why Oct. 8 Is a Different Tour Experience
The Oct. 8 listing specifically identifies the experience as No Field Access.
SoFi Stadium explains that this designation is used when other events are taking place inside the building and the tour cannot include the field or on-field activities. Other areas, including locker rooms, may still be available depending on the day’s operations.
That makes the tour different from dates when visitors may receive access to additional parts of the stadium.
SoFi Stadium Is Preparing for Major Events
The tour also gives visitors a closer look at a venue preparing for some of the biggest events on the American sports calendar.
SoFi Stadium is scheduled to host Super Bowl LXI in February 2027, adding another major chapter to the venue’s relatively short history.
The stadium previously hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022, making it the first stadium to host a conference championship game and the Super Bowl in the same year.
What Guests Should Know
SoFi Stadium recommends that tour guests arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled tour time.
Guests can take still photographs for personal use, but tripods, monopods, selfie sticks and cameras with lenses longer than six inches are not permitted. Video recording is also prohibited during the tour.
The stadium also advises visitors to wear comfortable, closed-toe athletic shoes because portions of the tour can involve walking and optional physical activities.
A Different Way to Experience SoFi Stadium
While major concerts and NFL games draw thousands of people to SoFi Stadium, the Oct. 8 tour offers something quieter and more personal.
Visitors can explore the venue without attending a game or concert, getting a closer look at the spaces that help make SoFi Stadium one of the most prominent sports and entertainment destinations in Los Angeles.
With its behind-the-scenes access and connection to two NFL teams, the tour gives fans a chance to experience the stadium from a perspective they normally would not get on game day.
