BOZEMAN, Mont. | Young golfers in the Bozeman area will get another chance to work on their game Thursday, Sept. 24, when Bridger Creek Golf Course holds its final September sessions for its Pee-Wees and Turf Mites junior programs.
The programs are designed to introduce kids to golf in a fun setting while building fundamental skills that can carry into future rounds and competitions.
Pee-Wees Take the Course at 4 p.m.
The Pee-Wee program is geared toward children ages 4 to 6. Bridger Creek’s 2026 schedule lists the Sept. 24 session from 4 to 4:45 p.m.
The four-session program introduces young golfers to putting, chipping, bunker shots and the full swing. Participants also learn golf etiquette, safety and basic athletic skills.
Bridger Creek lists an instructor ratio of five students to one instructor for the Pee-Wee sessions, giving young players a small-group learning environment.
Turf Mites Session Follows
The Turf Mites program is scheduled for children ages 7 to 15, with the Sept. 24 session running from 5 to 6 p.m.
The program covers basic golf skills including putting, chipping, full swing, woods and on-course play. The September sessions are scheduled for Thursdays, with Sept. 24 serving as the final date listed for the month.
A Focus on Building Lifelong Golfers
Bridger Creek has made junior instruction a major part of its golf operation. The course says its junior programs focus on having fun while developing athletic ability and helping young players build confidence in the game.
The course also provides clubs and balls for students who do not have their own equipment. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Located at the base of the Bridger Mountains, Bridger Creek Golf Course has operated in Bozeman since the 1990s and offers instruction through its Rocky Mountain Golf Academy.
September Session Marks a Seasonal Milestone
The Sept. 24 classes are not a major tournament or professional golf event, but they highlight Bridger Creek’s continued focus on introducing younger players to the sport.
