ARLINGTON, Texas, Sept. 21, 2026: MS NOW is bringing its annual live community event to Texas for the first time, with more than a dozen of the network’s best-known journalists and hosts scheduled to appear at College Park Center in Arlington on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The event, titled MS NOW Live: Together in Texas: We The People 2026, begins at 2 p.m. at the University of Texas at Arlington. The gathering is expected to combine live conversations, audience interaction and special programming featuring several familiar faces from the network.
Rachel Maddow, Jen Psaki and Other Hosts Set to Appear
The scheduled lineup includes Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, Jen Psaki, Stephanie Ruhle, Ali Velshi, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez, Jacob Soboroff, Eugene Daniels, Michael Steele, Luke Russert and Rev. Al Sharpton.
The event marks the first time MS NOW has taken its annual live community gathering outside the New York area. Previous editions were held in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
MS NOW described the Arlington gathering as its biggest community event yet. The network said the Texas event is designed to bring its audience together with its journalists and newsmakers for a full day of live programming.
Live Q&A and Podcast Recording Planned
One of the featured portions of the event will be an audience Q&A with Maddow and Psaki.
The program will also include a live recording of the Clock It podcast hosted by Symone Sanders Townsend and Eugene Daniels. An interactive audience segment featuring Jacob Soboroff is also scheduled.
A separate We The People Community Dinner will be available for Platinum ticket holders, giving selected attendees additional opportunities to interact with MS NOW personalities.
Why Arlington Was Chosen
The event comes as Texas enters the final stretch before the 2026 midterm elections.
MS NOW has pointed to Texas as an important location for discussions involving national political issues, including voting rights, immigration, education and the economy. The network’s announcement also highlighted the state’s role in the national political conversation ahead of November’s elections.
Recent local coverage has also focused on the civic engagement component of the event. Dallas Weekly reported that Sanders Townsend and Daniels plan to discuss civic participation and voter preparation during their Arlington appearance.
A First Texas Stop for the Annual Event
MS NOW Live began as a community-focused ticketed event series in 2023. Earlier editions brought network audiences together in New York.
The Arlington event represents a significant geographic expansion for the series, giving MS NOW an opportunity to bring its live programming directly to a Texas audience.
The network’s move also comes as it continues expanding beyond traditional television through digital programming, podcasts, social media and live events.
What Attendees Can Expect
Doors at College Park Center are scheduled to open at noon, with the main event beginning at 2 p.m. on Sept. 26.
Along with the scheduled conversations and audience segments, attendees will have opportunities to interact with MS NOW personalities throughout the event.
Tickets include an offer for one year of access to MS NOW’s forthcoming membership experience, which the network says will provide exclusive content and additional opportunities to connect with its hosts and community.
