Minneapolis is set for a night of stand-up comedy as internationally recognized comedian, poet and actor ALOK brings the new Eat Pray Leave tour to The Parkway Theater on Friday, September 18, 2026.

The Parkway has scheduled an early performance followed by a late show, with the venue announcing the additional performance as part of the September 18 program.

A New Stand-Up Tour

The Eat Pray Leave show marks a new stand-up comedy offering from ALOK, whose work spans comedy, poetry, writing and acting.

The performer has appeared at major comedy events and festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Netflix Is a Joke Festival. The Parkway also notes that ALOK’s performances have reached audiences in more than 40 countries.

ALOK’s Work Beyond the Stage

ALOK is also known for several literary works, including Beyond the Gender Binary, Femme in Public and Your Wound, My Garden.

Their first comedy special, Biology!, was executive produced by Christopher Guest. ALOK has also appeared in television and film projects including The Sex Lives of College Girls, Sort Of, Random Acts of Flyness and Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne.

The Parkway Theater Stop

The Minneapolis performance is part of ALOK’s broader Eat Pray Leave tour. The Parkway Theater, located on Chicago Avenue in south Minneapolis, regularly hosts comedy, live music, film screenings and other live performances.
