Savannah is getting a little stranger this weekend as the World Oddities Expo arrives at the Savannah Convention Center for two days of unusual art, curiosities, live entertainment and hands-on experiences.

The traveling event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, and Sunday, Sept. 6, in Exhibit Hall D. General admission begins at 11 a.m., while VIP ticket holders can enter at 10 a.m. The event runs until 7 p.m. each day.

The Savannah stop is the expo’s second annual event in the city, giving fans of unusual collectibles, macabre artwork and curious pieces of history a chance to browse a convention built around the unconventional.

What to Expect at the World Oddities Expo

World Oddities Expo describes itself as a traveling festival focused on unusual art, science, history and entertainment.

The show floor features the Lost Curio Marketplace, where visitors can browse products and artwork from artists and small businesses. Categories include insects, taxidermy, jewelry, macabre art and unusual home decor.
