Jessica Simpson shared two mysterious Instagram photos. She is now believed to be preparing for new music by her followers.

The 41-year old actress and singer posted a selfie on Tuesday showing her head down and holding the microphone in one hand. The next day, she posted a black and white photo of a piano.

Both images were labeled with “11.11”, which is quite interesting.

Many fans responded quickly, with many predicting that the ex-teen pop singer would release new music in November.

An admirer wrote, “Queen Jess will be coming.”

Another fan wrote, “11 years ago, her last album. 11/11 suits your,” suggesting that the images hint at a new album.

Another hopeful admirer exclaimed her joy, “Jess! I’m freaking!” “Is there any music?” Simpson’s latest album was released in February 2020. It included six new songs and an audiobook version her novel “Open Book.” Simpson also included “Your Fool,” a collaboration of Willie Nelson. The singer’s new six tracks were her first new music in over a decade. As you may recall, she released “Happy Christmas” in 2010.

Entertainment Tonight heard Simpson tell Entertainment Tonight that she wrote the six songs as a way to heal from her battle with alcoholism.

She said that music was truly what pushed me to write the book and stay sober.

She appears to have also discussed in her book how songwriting helped her.

According to the publication, songwriting “gets me to an honest spot and honestly, it was a sad place.” She also said that she was drunk at the time and couldn’t do certain motherly tasks.

She told her friends later that she needed to quit. There has to be something. It’s not booze, it’s me quitting. Simpson posted the following on Instagram Nov. 1, to mark four years of sobriety. There was a lot of self-discovery, exploration and learning that I needed to do… I had to stop drinking alcohol to keep my mind and heart from racing in the same direction.
