An exciting new project is set to take place in Inishowen. On 1st July, the Inishowen Development Partnership will host a virtual event to launch its Strategy Document and EnVision consultation with communities in Inishowen. The evening will feature guest speakers and entertainment from The Henry Girls and Kathy Donaghy. This event is aimed at empowering women to make positive changes in their communities.
The Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) is a charity with charitable status and more than 15 years of experience working in the Inishowen Peninsula. The partnership works to embed social inclusion in its services, reinforce the economic environment, and develop the organizational capabilities of local communities. It also encourages rural people to think long-term about their area and experiment with the natural and cultural environment.

The event will take place on Friday, February 8th, and will include a number of local activities. The event is open to the public and will take place in the town hall.
