Tori Spelling Gets Guidance from Her 90210 Castmates Ahead of DWTS Debut: ‘Enjoy the Ride!’
Tori Spelling’s former *Beverly Hills, 90210* co-stars are cheering her on as she prepares to hit the dance floor on *Dancing with the Stars*!
Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Carteris, Jennie Garth, and Ian Ziering shared their excitement for Spelling during a *90210* reunion panel at 90s Con on September 14 in Daytona Beach, Florida. (Spelling was originally set to attend the event but had to pull out at the last minute.)
During the discussion, the group celebrated Spelling’s upcoming appearance on *DWTS*, where she’s one of 13 celebrities competing in season 33. Spelling, 51, will be dancing alongside professional partner Pasha Pashkov.
Green, 51, Garth, 52, Ziering, 60, and Carteris, 63, agreed that while the show is tough, they couldn’t be more thrilled for their former co-star.
Having competed in season 30 of *DWTS* himself, Green offered some advice, saying, “Stay focused, enjoy every minute of it,” before emphasizing, “It’s a seven-day-a-week commitment.”
Garth expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I’m so excited for her! I know she’s going to be amazing,” while Carteris added that she was “really, really happy” for Spelling.
Ziering encouraged the audience to rally behind Spelling, saying, “We’re all rooting for her, and we hope you will too.”
Spelling had previously shared with PEOPLE that it was Green who encouraged her to join the competition, saying, “Brian knew from the start after I got the call, and he kept telling me, ‘You’ll be fantastic. You have to do this.’”
The *90210* cast also took a moment during the panel to honor their late co-star, Shannen Doherty, who passed away on July 13 after a long battle with cancer. She was 53.
Green reflected on Doherty’s journey with cancer, calling her “incredibly brave” and praising her for being open about her struggle. “What she went through was tough, and she didn’t shy away from sharing it with the world. That takes a lot of courage,” he said.
Carteris added that Doherty’s strength had left a lasting impact on others, sharing, “I have a friend battling cancer right now, and she said Shannen’s story has been an inspiration to her. Her legacy continues to give hope to so many.”
