Joey “Jaws”, Chestnut, Chowdown champion, broke his own record to win the 14th Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest for men on Sunday.

Michelle Lesco won the title for women.

Chestnut ate 76 buns and franks in a matter of 10 minutes. This is one more than Chestnut did last year when he set the men’s record for the fastest time, but the contest was held without fans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lesco ate 30 ¾ dogs in ten minutes.

Miki Sudo, the reigning women’s champion and record-holder, skipped this year due to her pregnancy in just a few weeks.
