The Department of Tourism on Monday said it will perpetrate a few 10,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines for 5,000 tourism employees in Bohol.
“I’m thrilled to bring the fantastic information that vaccine czars Sec. Carlito Galvez and Sec. Vince Dizon has accepted our request for further vaccines for Bohol,” said Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat through a virtual assembly.

“For this, the business’s front liners can begin preparing for a larger reopening of tourism in the coming days,” she explained.
The tourism employees will receive Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine,” said the DOT.
Meanwhile, the Bohol Governor Arthur Yap said to be prioritized from the first maternity program are employees from DOT-accredited institutions having a certificate of authority to function, and also the state’s tourism seal of excellence — the supreme Bohol Expertise seal.
“Bohol attracts its earnings from remittances overseas and the services industry, and the two sources are affected in this catastrophe,” said Yap.

Together with the vaccination of tourism employees, Puyat expressed hope that this could produce the journey bubble between Bohol and other destinations in Asia viable in the long run.
