Zayn Malik is an expert in managing a Hadid family event.
Gigi Hadid, in a Harper’s Bazaar cover story, July 27, revealed the typical family dynamics when they have spirited conversations. She also said that her 28-year-old singer-boyfriend has found his voice amongst the Hadids.
Gigi Hadid, 26 years old, is the daughter of Yolanda Hadid (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and Mohamed Hadid (Mohamed Hadid). Bella Hadid (24), and Anwar Hadid (22), are also part of the former couple.
“This isn’t to say that I don’t think Bella has a heart or that I don’t know how to use it, but when it comes to family issues, my mom calls me a brain and Bella the hearts,” explained Gigi in Harper’s Bazaar. My brother is half of me. No matter what the family dinner table discussion is about, Bella will be extremely emotional and compassionate. I sit there pulling up infographics and charts, speaking very calmly.
“My mom is very Dutch and straight to the point. My dad is a storyteller, a bit goofy but always linking it back to the “Oh, you’ve ever heard the old Palestinian saying …’,” Gigi said.
Malik is a good fit for the role. He is now very comfortable. He is a free thinker. He speaks his mind when he is in the middle of something family-related and everyone is like, “Zayn, which side are you on?” He’s charming. He is usually my mom’s side so he is smart in that way.”
Gigi and Malik had their first child together in September, their daughter Khai. The new mom spoke out about her natural home birth in a Vogue cover story. Bella, Yolanda, and Malik were there along with a local midwife, her assistant, and Bella.
“I had to dig deeper. It was the most painful thing in my life. But you must accept it and say, “This is what it really is.” Gigi said that she loved giving birth. “There was definitely a point when I thought, ‘I wonder how it would feel with an epidural. How would it be different? My midwife looked at my face and said, “You’re doing that.” You can’t ask anyone to help you. The epidural is over, so you would be pushing the same way in a hospital room. “

“I am sure my mom, Zayn, and Bella are proud of me. But at times I was terrified of each one of them. Z and I looked at one another and said, ‘We can have some more time before we do it again.'” Gigi recalled.
