Joel Picolo grew up in the New Orleans metropolitan area. Joel, the youngest of four children, had to make a point of standing out from the group by being lively, caring, and not afraid to speak up. Joel’s parents were born and raised in the business world. John Henry Enterprises grew from transporting cleaning chemicals from the back of a pickup truck to multi-million dollar contracts with Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Joel was mentored by his parents for business from an early age.
Joel Picolo earned a marketing degree with a sales focus from Nicholls in 2015. He then founded Everlast Marketing Group, a company that sold telecommunications products at retail outlets. He closed his firm and became a real-estate professional in 2018 after two years. Like every Realtor, Joel worked extremely hard to build up his Real Estate business. Only doing 1.5 million in 2018, to now doing 7.5 million in 2021.

Joel Picolo prioritises his consumers when it comes to real estate. This is a motto that his father instilled in him when he was a child. “Joel, if you take care of your clients, they’ll take care of you.” Joel uses this everyday to go above and beyond for his clients. Some of his signature experiences is by throwing his buyer clients house warming parties after they have bought their house. He also sends them a personal video for their birthday. That’s why, after only three years in the business, Joel is among New Orleans’ top 500 realtors. His father plays a vital role in his success.
Joel Picolo enjoys reading, working out, and doing community service in his spare time. Joel is also the star of the HGTV show “Selling the Big Easy,” which premiered in 2020. Brittany and her team are followed as they assist clients in finding the home of their dreams by showing them high-end properties with just the perfect combination of history and charm.
