Indonesia has at least five provinces that have the highest number of positive daily cases. These five provinces include DKI Jakarta (West Java), Central Java, DIY, DIY, and East Java. DKI Jakarta, with 10,903 daily cases, was the province that had the highest contribution. This is a record-breaking number, compared to other provinces.

Additionally, West Java had 6,971 cases; Central Java had 3,447, DIY 1,465 and East Java 1,543. The five provinces contributed not only the most positive cases but also the most additional deaths.

DKI Jakarta has 120 deaths per day. In West Java, there were 39 deaths, in Central Java, 129 deaths, and in DIY 32 cases. East Java had 100 cases. This data is based upon data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health up to Monday (5/7/2021 at 12.00 WIB). The total number of Covid-19-related cases in Indonesia has now reached 2,313,829. The Ministry of Health reported that 29745 Covid-19 cases were added. This is an informational figure. This brings the total number in Covid-19 cases to 2,313,829.
