The U.K. has been relatively quiet since the incident but Russia continues to communicate, primarily to a domestic audience that it is under siege.
Sergei Ryabkov, Russia’s deputy foreign minister, told reporters that there were “malicious attempts” made by officials in London as well as “some representatives from the U.S. government, to distort what actually happened.”
