Positive cases of the corona virus ( Covid-19 ) augmented by 4,860 today, Wednesday (7/4). Thus, there have been a total of 1,547,376 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia since it was first proclaimed in early March 2020.
Founded on data from the Covid-19 Treatment Task Power, of this number, 1,391,742 of them have recovered. There were 5,769 recovered patients from the previous day.
Then from the number of positive cases recorded, 42,064 of them have died. Affected role died after being infected with Covid-19, an increase of 87 from the preceding day.
Temporarily, 113,570 lively cases were logged and 77,496 specimens were inspected with 59,524 suspects.
The administration is still working on overwhelming the corona virus pandemic in the country, including by implementing the application of micro-limitation of community activities (PPKM).
The vaccination program also continues. Currently, health workers, the elderly, and public service workers are also starting to receive vaccine injections.
Most recently, the government has banned the public from going home to this year’s Eid al-Fitr. Eid homecoming is prohibited from 6-17 May 2021 in order to prevent a spike in new cases of the corona virus.
People are also advised not to travel outside the region before and after May 6-17.

The government will impose sanctions that are determined to go home. However, the details of the sanctions are still being discussed by the government.
Exceptions for the 2021 homecoming ban will be given to parties who wish to travel with certain criteria which will be further studied.
Meanwhile, the implementation of tarawih prayers is permitted by the government to be carried out at the mosque / prayer room during Ramadan. However, the number of pilgrims is still limited to a maximum of 50 percent of capacity.
