China’s market regulator announced Thursday that it had requested E-commerce platforms, including Alibaba’s Taobao or Pinduoduo, to immediately take down online shops selling fake quality reports.
The State Administration of Market Regulation stated that the regulator also requested local regulators in Shanghai and Zhejiang provinces where Alibaba and Pinduoduo have their headquarters to inspect quality testing institutions.
