The first trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gave us a glimpse of the new villain Shuma-Gorath. This character might also be a tie-in with Spider-Man’s third adventure, but it’s still too early to say.

Although the multiverse is not a new concept, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will introduce characters and elements from the Marvel Comics universe. As a sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange, the film could be one of the most important MCU movies since Avengers: Endgame. The Multiverse of Madness will have a new villain for the MCU. In the last movie, we met the evil Doctor Strange, and that villain might be the evil variant of the MCU. Though the character isn’t officially confirmed by Marvel Studios, many fans have guessed that the evil variant is the Strange Supreme from “What If…”?”. The movie will probably feature Doctor and the Dark Avengers team taking on the evil Dr. Strange.

While Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will revolve around the main hero, the second movie will also introduce other important and interesting characters from the Marvel comics. As the last film in the MCU, the Multiverse is a large universe with countless universes, including many parallel worlds and alternate realities. The story will revolve around the MCU’s multiverse. There are some interesting twists and surprises in store for fans.

Another teaser trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness shows that the villain is the same as that in the first movie, but it’s more likely to be a different one. This time, the movie will feature a new antagonist and a new origin story for the MCU’s first-time hero. It will be an excellent opportunity to expand the MCU and bring the character’s story to the next level.
