Disney Reveals When New Marvel Gaming Announcements Are Coming

We all know that the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase is slated for September. But, did you know that it’s also going to stream to fans? And, when is it? Well, we’re not sure yet, but we’ll keep you posted. If you’re a fan, stay tuned! In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up next.

Disney & Marvel Games Showcase to debut in September

“Disney & Marvel Games Showcase” to debut in September! On September 9th, Disney and Marvel are hosting a special gaming showcase to celebrate the coming of new games in the world of entertainment. The event will be live streamed at 1pm PST on the Disney & Marvel Games YouTube channel, Twitter account, and Facebook page. The show will feature new reveals for Marvel’s Midnight Suns and Disney & Pixar games, as well as a sneak peek of an unannounced Marvel game. Bless Adeoye, Jr. will host the event, as well as some special interviews.

Spider-Man 2

The highly-anticipated sequel to Spider-Man is headed to PlayStation this year. According to a new trailer, Spider-Man 2 will be exclusive to the PlayStation platform. However, the game could come to PS4 later. Regardless, it’s a good sign for fans of the web-slinging hero. But, the question is: will Spider-Man 2 be available on PlayStation 4?

Wolverine

There are some rumors that Wolverine is coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One, and we now know that Insomniac Games is developing the game. While we don’t have a release date yet, we know that the game will be released sometime after Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in 2023. Insomniac Games revealed the news of Wolverine on Twitter, and confirmed that it would be a PS5 exclusive, which means it wouldn’t be released on Xbox One or PS4. Sony acquired Insomniac Games in 2019 and incorporated them into the PlayStation Studios, so future games will probably skip the Microsoft platforms.

Kingdom Hearts 4

If the recent Marvel Gaming and Kingdom Hearts 4 announcements are any indication, we could see both titles rocketing to the top of people’s ranking lists. Both series have become increasingly realistic and have branched out from the cartoony aesthetic that has characterized them for decades. Disney’s Dreamlight Valley and Marvel’s Midnight Suns are expected to make an appearance, as well as an unannounced ensemble Marvel game.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

After multiple delays, the new game from LEGO has finally hit the market. Originally scheduled for 2020, the game is now launching on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One. Xbox Series X owners can also now play the game, which comes with a new multiplayer mode. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on April 5.
