The 28-year-old said on Twitter that the choice had come after “a great deal of mending and self-intelligent work”.
“Today is a day I’m so glad to impart a greater amount of my life to all of you – I am pleased to tell you that I distinguish as non-double and will formally be changing my pronouns to they/them pushing ahead,” Lovato said.
