Top White House officials rebuked podcast and movie host Joe Rogan on Wednesday after he suggested his listeners against obtaining the coronavirus vaccine.

Rogan made those remarks on past Friday’s installment of his eponymous series,”The Joe Rogan Experience” on Spotify, that is the sound streaming agency’s most popular podcast. “If you are like 21 years old and you say ,’If I get vaccinated?’ I will go,’No,”’ Rogan explained, adding:”If you are a healthy man and you are exercising all of the time and you are young and you are eating well, I do not believe you have to be worried about it.”

Rogan’s remarks to his legion of fans — that have since spread broadly on social websites — come in a particularly inconvenient second for White House officials, that are working to convince the vaccine-hesitant, particularly conservative guys and younger Americans, to receive their shots as the U.S. vaccine supply starts to outpace demand.
